You need to educate yourself on insulin pump therapy.

The pump is only as good as the data you supply it with. During the first weeks to months of starting a pump you must be prepared to do blood sugar checks many, many times a day and to work with your diabetes healthcare provider to optimize the programming in your pump.

There is a steep learning curve during the first few months on the pump. It’s worth it! You’ll get your freedom back! There are online pump groups to help you and support you!
